To the south of Spain, in the geographical center of Andalusia is located the province of Cordoba. Its capital, Cordoba, is an ancient city whose historical presence is marked with universal lines. Bathed by the waters of the river Guadalquivir, the city has been a melting pot of culture and encounter of civilizations.
Córdoba, of Iberian origin, was converted into a patrician colony at the time of the Roman Empire. It was during those centuries that Cordoba began to radiate its own culture. After a few years of decline during the Visigothic period, the city returned to resurge during the Arab domination.
Elected by the Umayyad prince Abd-al Rahman I as the capital of the kingdom of Al-Andalus became the most dazzling city in the world known.
Cordova was light of the West and in her grew important men in all the branches of the knowledge. Large constructions were built, such as the city of Madinat-Al Zahra and its Alhama Mosque. The large building, like a huge stone rose, opens on petals so that we can contemplate its beauty through its own history.

Córdoba Jewish, Christian and Moorish shows us its charms so that drunk with aromas of jasmine and orange blossom can enjoy its corners, squares and alleys to the heat of its people.
